Obama Send Hamas Supporter On His Administration’s First Diplomatic Mission
Last week, Barack Obama sent Robert Malley on a diplomatic mission to Egypt and Syria with the message he intends to strengthen ties with both nations. Malley also has ties to the George Soros funded group Crisis Group. In September, the Obama campaign came under attack for having Malley on his team after Malley admitted he was in regular contact with Hamas as part of his work with the Crisis Group. Ben LaBolt responded to the allegations for the Obama campaign by saying that Malley had only given “informal advice to the campaign in the past,” an was adamant that Malley would have “no formal role in the campaign and he [would] not play any role in the future.”
In January 2008, Ed Lasky, new editor for the American Thinker, stated that much of Malley’s writing was merely propaganda, and that: “Malley has seemingly followed in his father’s footsteps: he represents the next generation of anti-Israel activism.”
More on Malley here. And here.
